CYPRUS, Koinon of Cyprus. Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 12.69 g, 12h). Dated "New Holy Year" 8 (AD 75/76). Laureate head left / Temple of Aphrodite at Paphos, with conical xoanon in center; H (date) in exergue. Prieur 1564; Parks 16a; RPC II 1803. Near VF, toned, some porosity. Rare, twelve known to Prieur, and ten in CoinArchives, including this coin.
