CYPRUS, Koinon of Cyprus. Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 11.86 g, 12h). Dated "New Holy Year" 9 (AD 76/77). Laureate head left / Temple of Aphrodite at Paphos, with conical xoanon in center; Θ (date) in exergue. Prieur 1568 (this coin); Parks 16c; RPC II 1806. Near VF, toned, some roughness and light scratches. Rare, eleven known to Prieur, and two in CoinArchives.
