SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 13.88 g, 6h). Struck AD 114/115. Laureate head of Trajan right, set on eagle standing right; club to left / Laureate bust of Melkart-Hercules right, with lion's skin tied around neck. Prieur 1520 (Tyre; this coin); McAlee 465; RPC III 3557/7 (this coin cited and illustrated). VF, toned, light porosity, some smoothing in right reverse field. Very rare, only two known to Prieur, four in CoinArchives, and twelve specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
