PHOENICIA, Ace-Ptolemais. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 12.51 g, 5h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, facing statue between two bulls. Prieur 1219 (this coin). EF, toned, a touch of porosity, compact flan. Very rare, only four known to Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
