PHOENICIA, Aradus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.93 g, 6h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate and cuirassed bust left, wearing aegis; trabea over shoulder / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; crescent between legs. Prieur 1261 (this coin). VF, deeply toned, some porosity. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, and two in CoinArchives.
