PHOENICIA, Aradus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 13.82 g, 12h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; crescent between legs. Prieur 1270 (this coin). Good VF, toned, a touch of porosity. Extremely rare, only three known to Prieur, and one in CoinArchives.
