PHOENICIA, Aradus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 14.86 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, bull's head right. Prieur 1251 (this coin). Good VF, toned with underlying luster, light graffito in right obverse field, reverse lamination flaw. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
