PHOENICIA, Byblus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 13.61 g, 12h). Struck AD 215-217. Radiate head right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; altar between legs. Prieur 1316 (this coin). Good VF, toned, porous, reverse struck slightly off center. Very rare, only five known to Prieur, and two in CoinArchives.
