PHOENICIA, Sidon. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 11.53 g, 5h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; carriage of Astarte between legs. Prieur 1363 (this coin). Good VF, toned, some minor porosity. Very rare, only six known to Prieur, and five in CoinArchives.
