C. Piso L.f. Frugi. 61 BC. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 3.57 g, 6h). Rome mint. Head of Apollo right, hair bound with fillet; strigil to left / Horseman galloping right, wearing Phrygian cap, holding long palm frond and reins; pellet in crescent below. Crawford 408/1b (O23/R17); Hersh, Piso 204 (O223/R2022); Sydenham 859; RSC 24a. Good VF, toned, a few minor marks on obverse under tone. Struck in high relief.
