1911-D Indian Head Quarter Eagle – $2½. NGC MS 64. . . (952620-001). Without a doubt the key to completing any Indian Head quarter eagle set is the 1911-D. The coin hits a wall at the MS 64 grade level. Anything above climbs quickly in price while the grades below are consistently near the price for the MS 64. We think this coin is solid for the grade and worthy of an attempt either at upgrade or a CAC sticker.
