PHILISTIA (PALESTINE), Uncertain mint. Mid 5th century-333 BC. AR Tetradrachm (20mm, 17.11 g, 9h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with profile eye and pi-style palmette / Owl standing right, head facing; olive spray and crescent (in form of Aramaic shin[?]) to left; all within incuse square. CNG 94, lot 767, otherwise unpublished. Good VF, compact, folded flan, small banker's mark on obverse, minor flan flaw on reverse. Extremely rare, perhaps the second known.
