SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tridrachm (26.5mm, 10.21 g, 7h). Struck AD 100. Laureate head right / Laureate bust of Melqart-Hercules right, with lion skin tied around neck. Prieur 1483 (Tyre); McAlee 476; RPC III 3566. VF, toned, a few scratches, reverse metal flaw. Well centered on a large flan. Rare, eight known to Prieur, and ten in CoinArchives, including this coin.
