SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Commodus. As Caesar, AD 166-177. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 10.94 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 175. KOMMOΔΩ KAI CЄB VIΩ (both Ω inverted), bare head left / ΓЄPMAN CAPMATI, eagle standing left on leg and thigh of sacrificial animal, with wings spread. Prieur 164; McAlee 628 (this coin illustrated); RPC IV Online 7164/4 (this coin cited). VF, toned, areas of porosity. Extremely rare, only two known to Prieur, and one in CoinArchives (CNG 60, lot 1314).
