SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.45 g, 12h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on club, head and tail right, with wings spread and holding wreath in beak; star between its legs. Prieur 232 (this coin); McAlee 685. EF, lightly toned with underlying luster, some minor roughness. Very rare, six known to Prieur, and one in CoinArchives.
