JUDAEA, Caesarea Maritima. Diadumenian. As Caesar, AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 15.09 g, 11h). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on serpent-entwined torch, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Prieur 1681; Sofaer –. EF, lightly toned, underlying luster, some obverse die wear. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
