Hadrian (AD 117-138). AR denarius (17mm, 2.79 gm, 9h). About Fine. Contemporary Imitative issue. HADRIAN - AVG COS III, barbarous-style head right / I CONCECRATIO, eagle standing right on altar, head reverted.

This type is unknown for Hadrian but it quite common for Antoninus Pius. It is quite possible that this imitative was struck circa AD 165 and saw heavy circulation well into the third century.
