Nimbate, draped bust of the Virgin, orans, within city walls with six groups of towers; sigla: M-Θ above, HT monogram-B HT monogram below on either side / ANΔPO/NIKOC' EN / XW ΔECΠO/THC O Π/AΛEO/Γ, Andronicus II kneeling right at the feet of nimbate Christ, who stands facing, laying right hand on Andronicus' head, book of Gospels in left; IC / XC barred in right field.
