Moesia Inferior, Nicopolis ad Istrum. Caracalla. As Caesar, A.D. 196-198. AE 18 (17.88 mm, 3.59 g, 7 h). [MA] AV K ANTΩ[NEINOC] (or similar), bare-headed draped bust of Caracalla right / ΝΙΚΟΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ ΠΡΟC Ι, winged Eros/Genius/Thanatos standing left, cross-legged, resting elbows atop column and holding extinguished torch . Cf. Moushmov 1083. Near VF / VF, Dark green patina, smooth on obverse and with lighter deposits in recesses of reverse; obverse weakly struck losing much legend.
