Marcus Aurelius Æ Medallion of Cyzicus, Mysia. Circa AD 161-165. AV KAI M AVHP ANTΩNЄINOC, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right / NЄO[KOPΩ]N, cylindrical temple with closed gate; on roof, three statues of Demeter carrying torches; lighted large torches entwined by serpents on each side; KVZIKHNΩN in two lines below. Unpublished in the standard references, but for rev. type cf. RPC IV Online 758 (temporary, pseudo-autonomous issue under Commodus). 28.08g, 36mm, 6h.
