CRUSADER IMITATIONS OF ARABIC COINS. COUNTY OF TRIPOLIS. Fourth Phase, 1251-1287. Bezant Tripolaz, as above, again different dies. 3.29 g, specific gravity 13.9. Apparently of slightly higher fineness, both sides from sharp and nearly unused dies, in spite of a die break between the letter B and the Arabic inscription.
Good very fine
Bought from Pierre Crinon at Numismata München in March 2000.
