Obv: silver crowned eagle facing left holding cross in beak with gold medallion of Carol I on breast holding sword and sceptre with silver-gilt ribbon inscribed PRIN STATORNICIE LA ISBINDA (By Perseverance to Victory) across; set against silver-gilt sunburst. Rev: plain with small crown punch to one ray; silver-gilt pin with same crown punch, also numbered 48-35 and with incuse ARG and RESCH.
