Obv: smoothed and engraved with a man wearing striped jacket and trousers with tall hat and smoking a long 'churchwarden' tobacco pipe standing with three windows behind and table on which stand a tankard and a glass to left with a small chair and stool at bottom left. Rev: smoothed and engraved initials M A below bower arch with flowers and bird above; anchor with quatrefoil and small sun each side below and foliage sprays at sides. 25.49 grams. (").
