This medalet, commemorating the death of Cromwell, was struck by John Kirk of London and distributed with the October 1773 edition of Sentimental Magazine, London, published March 1773-December 1777; it was one of a series of twelve (or thirteen) such pieces issued with the magazines during the period 1773-1774. Very fine.
