Sin embargo, en el año de la acuñación de esta moneda, la lucha por la libertad de Casio terminó: en la batalla de Filipos, en octubre del 42 aC. Derrotó a Marco Antonio y eligió suicidarse porque no sabía que Bruto tuvo éxito al principio y, por lo tanto, creía que la causa republicana estaba perdida. However, in the year of the coinage of this coin, Casio's struggle for freedom ended: at the Battle of Philippi, in October 42 BC. He defeated Marco Antonio and chose to commit suicide because he did not know that Brutus was successful at first and, therefore, he believed that the Republican cause was lost. The tripod with the cauldron (Cortina) is that of the Pythia, and points out that the kings of Caesar wanted to secure the support of Apollo, the god of Delphi.
