Proyectos no adoptados de anverso y reverso sobre cartulina del billete de 25 pesetas para la emisión del 23 de Abril de 1956, realizados a mano y utilizado color para dar la sensación de fondos litográficos. En el anverso vemos representada a Concepción Arenal y en el reverso la Torre de Hércules, ambos pegados sobre cartulina. El color está conseguido con la técnica "aguada", es decir, utilizando un color base y efectuando los diferentes matices diluyendo con agua y aplicándolos con pincel o plumilla. Como podemos ver, el proyecto, con este tipo de trabajo, da una visión perfecta de lo que debe ser el posible billete. Hay que recordar que en la FNMT había en los años '50 y '60 un taller de dibujantes y grabadores para la elaboración de los diferentes artículos que se fabricaban en la entidad, billetes, sellos, lotería, etc., así como una "Escuela de Perfeccionamiento de Grabado y Modelado" donde ingresaban alumnos procedentes de la Escuela de Artes y Oficios para formarse en estos campos, constituyendo el conjunto de mayor nivel artístico y técnico del país en el ámbito del grabado. Non-adopted projects from the obverse and reverse on a cardboard from the 25 pesetas banknote of 23rd of April of 1956 issuing, handmade and colored to give the perception of lithographic backgrounds. On the obverse we can see Concepcion Arenal and on the reverse the Tower of Hercules, both glued on a cardboard. The color it´s obtained with the "watered" technique, that is, using a base color and performing the different tinting by thinning with water and applying with a paintbrush or a die pen. As we can see, the project, with this kind of work, gives a perfect vision of what a banknote should be. We have to remember that in the 50´s and 60´s Royal Mint the was a workshop for draftsmen and engravers for the production of the different goods that were made in it: banknotes, stamps, lottery..., as well as an "Engraving and Modeling Perfection School" where students from the "School of Arts and Professions" joined to be trained in these fields, constituting the
