TROAS, Skepsis. 5th century BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 3.78 g, 11h). Forepart of Pegasos right; Σ-KH-[ΨI]-ON around / Palm tree; two grape bunches on vines flanking trunk; square linear and pellet borders; all within shallow incuse square. SNG Ashmolean –; SNG von Aulock 1575 = Jameson 2233 = Weber 5428 (same rev. die); SNG Copenhagen –; SNG München –; BMC 5 (same rev. die). VF, toned, much find patina remaining. Very rare.
