LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 350-300 BC. AR Nomos (21mm, 7.87 g, 12h). Head of Athena right, wearing helmet decorated on the bowl with Skylla throwing stone, and on the neck guard with ΣΩ / Bull butting right; above, Nike flying right, crowning bull; EY below, kerykeion in exergue. Cf. HN Italy 1820; cf. SNG Gale 818; otherwise unrecorded. Good VF, some die breaks, area of weak strike. Very rare.
