Northern Ireland Northern Bank Limited Don Price signature SPECIMEN set (4) comprising 10 Pounds dated 29th April 2004 serial number BD0000000 red SPECIMEN overprint diagonally on obverse and reverse, brown and violet on multicolour underprint. 20 Pounds dated 8th October 1999 CB0000000 red SPECIMEN overprint diagonally on obverse and reverse, purple and dark brown on multicolour underprint. 50 Pounds dated 8th October 1999 serial number DA0000000 red SPECIMEN overprint diagonally on obverse and reverse, olive brown on multicolour underprint. 100 Pounds dated 8th October 1999 serial number EA0000000 red SPECIMEN overprint diagonally on obverse and reverse, brown olive on multicolour underprint. In 1997 the notes were redesigned while retaining essential features of the previous issues with only additional security features now included as the most obvious now being the ascending serial numbers. All UNC. Scarce and seldom seen as a complete set. Similar designs to Pick 198( but dated as 205 ) to 201 (Blake-Callaway NR 121, 123, 125 and 127). The 10 Pounds note with an interesting history as it had to be slightly revised in 2004 where the main change being the bank title and logo now being in italic script and the note had a very short life being issued in December 2004 before the £26 million robbery which resulted in the issue being withdrawn along with other notes of the Fifth issue
