Reverse; Britannia seated, BRITANNIA and 1797 above and below, in incuse lettering on raised rim. Inverted die axis and plain edge. More sharply struck and detailed than other specimens, a near flawless example of Britain's largest copper coin intended for currency. Attractive original sheen and traces of mint red.
