KINGS of ARMENIA. Tigranes II 'the Great'. 95-56 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 15.53 g, 1h). Tigranocerta mint. Struck circa 80-68 BC. Draped bust right, wearing tiara with star and eagles / Tyche of Antioch seated right on rock, holding laurel branch; below, river-god Orontes swimming right; two monograms on rock; all within wreath. SCADA Group 7, dies A53/P14 (unlisted die combination); Kovacs 75.1; M&D 10 (Syrian mint). VF, slightly off center, some light porosity, die break on obverse.
