DECAPOLIS, Gadara. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 10.90 g, 6h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate head right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, the Three Graces within wreath. Prieur 1586 (this coin). VF, toned, light porosity, central metal flaw on each side. Extremely rare, only three known to Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
