DECAPOLIS, Gadara. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 15.79 g, 12h). Struck AD 215-217. Radiate head right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, the Three Graces within wreath. Prieur 1592. VF, toned, some porosity, minor deposits. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, and one, this coin, in CoinArchives.
