DECAPOLIS, Gadara. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 11.13 g, 12h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate and draped bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, the Three Graces within wreath. Prieur 1596. VF, lightly toned, a few spots of verdigris. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, and two in CoinArchives.
