JUDAEA, Neapolis. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 13.49 g, 12h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, lit altar. Prieur 1704; Sofaer –. VF, toned, a touch of porosity, slight reverse die shift. Extremely rare, only one noted by Prieur, and one in CoinArchives.
