Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Didrachm – Quadrigatus (21mm, 6.69 g, 6h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Janus; curved truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt with right hand and holding scepter in left, in quadriga right driven by Victory; in exergue, rOÂa incuse on solid tablet. Crawford 28/3; Sydenham 64a; RSC 23; RBW –. Near EF, toned, a few surface marks, small metal flaw on obverse. Well centered on a broad flan.
