Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AV Aureus (18mm, 6.99 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 147-150. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust of Faustina right, wearing hair bound in pearls / AVGV STA, Ceres standing left, holding torch in each hand. RIC III 357a (Pius); Beckman dies df16/CB2; Calicó 1758 (same obv. die as illustration); Biaggi 807 (same obv. die). Near VF, surface and edge marks, scuff on cheek.
