THRACE, Byzantion. Circa 110-100 BC. AR Tetradrachm (34mm, 16.88 g, 11h). In the name and types of Lysimachos. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield; transverse spear in background, monogram to inner left, BY on throne, ornate trident in exergue. Callataÿ Group 2A, dies D15/R2; HGC 3, 1404; Bement 894 (same dies). VF, toned, some deposits, cleaning marks, slight die shift on obverse.
