KINGS of MACEDON. Kassander. As regent, 317-305 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 16.95 g, 11h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Pella mint. Struck circa 317/6-315/4 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, E above thyrsos; Boeotian shield below throne. Price 256 (same dies as illustration); Moore 290 (dies 293/A). Good VF, lightly toned. Very rare, only two in Pella (both in the BM), none in CoinArchives; Moore notes one other in the ANS (not noted in Pella).
