CELTIC, Trinovantes & Catuvellauni. Uninscribed. Circa 100-40 BC. Fourrée AV Stater (18mm, 3.87 g). Late Whaddon Chase type. Traces of design / Horse leaping right; above, fist left with thumb erect above three annulets; eight-spoked wheel below. Van Arsdell 1507-1; ABC 186 (Cantiaci); SCBC 35. Good VF, plating broken exposing core. Rare and unusual.
