CELTIC, Iceni. Uninscribed. Circa 50-40 BC. AR Unit (13mm, 1.29 g, 5h). Bury Diadem (Gallo-Belgic XD) type. Uncertain mint in the upper Yare valey. Diademed female head left; snake symbol to left / Horse leaping left; pellet in ring of pellets above, pellet-in-annulets around. Talbot Bury A type, Group 2, dies B/4; Allen, Coins –; Van Arsdell 80-1 (Imported); ABC 1495; SCBC 432. VF, iridescent tone, slightly granular surfaces.
