CELTIC, Iceni. Uninscribed. Circa 65-1 BC. AR Unit (15.5mm, 1.15 g, 7h). Early Face/Horse type. Struck circa 50-30 BC. Male head right; to right, pellet-in-annulet above crescent above pellet-in-rosette / Horse right; above, pellet-in-rosette flanked by annulets above pellet-in-annulet; additional symbols around; grain ear below. Allen, Coins –; Van Arsdell –; cf. ABC 1525; SCBC 433; CCI 96.3050 (this coin). VF. Extremely rare.

From the Ealing Collection. Ex Rudd FPL 26 (1997), no. 43. Found near Snettisham, Norfolk, February 1991 (same field as the Snettisham gold torcs).
