British Coins, George V, halfcrown, 1925, bare head l., rev. crowned shield of arms within Garter (S.4021A; ESC.772; Bull 3727), certified and graded by NGC as Mint State 65, a lovely example of this under-appreciated modern rarity, with brilliant frosted lustre, especially fine for a .500-fine silver coin, bold reverse even at the top of the shield, sharp portrait, faint scuffing on the high points of the portrait and a few stray field marks but this remains one of the finest examples of this rare date
(900-1100 GBP)
