Ireland, Charles I, issue of 1643-4, 'Ormonde money', shilling, wide crown over 'wiry' C.R., rev. neat mark of value, D over XII, both sides within 'wire' line and beaded border and outer cut edges (S.6546; DF.297; KM.60), the crown on obverse bears a hint of the die break to come, otherwise good very fine and well-struck for issue
