Troas, Zeleia. civic issue. 4th century B.C. AE 13 (12.5 mm, 1.18 g, 6 h). Head of Artemis right, wearing stephane and earrings / Ξ - E / Λ - E, complex monogram (or torque) within wreath of barley with grain-ears; arranged with letters of ethnic reading in either direction - with Ξ at lower right if grain-ears are at top, Ξ at upper left if grain-ears are at bottom - around 3-ring symbol. (Possibly a stylized staff of Asklepios?). SNG Copenhagen 503-504. VF, casting-void flan edge irregularities at 11:00 & 1:00, reverse somewhat off-center to west but loses nothing important; smooth dark green patina.
