TRAIA[NVS AVG], laureate bust of Trajan right, drapery on left shoulder; countermark of capricorn flying right in oval at 1:00 / [PLOTINA] ET M-[ARCIANA], confronted diademed and draped busts of Plotina on left and Marciana on right. SNG France 1468 ; countermark, Howgego 304; Weber 5151. Fine, several ancient edge-chips; obverse off-center to northeast, reverse to south; scant legends, dark patina.
