Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Shilling, 1644, mm. Shrewsbury plume on obv. only, rev. Declaration, three large Shrewsbury plumes above, date and ox below, both between lozenges, reads relig pro leg ang liber pa, lozenge stops both sides, 6.15g/10h (Morr. D-3; SCBI Brooker 944; N 2449; S 2976A). Slightly creased and with a few surface marks, otherwise good fine and struck on a large flan, rare £240-£300
