Republic Pair of Order of the Striped Tiger Decorations ND (Instituted 1912) UNC,
1) Fifth Class Officer Badge, Barac-379, Li-pg. 65. 67mm. 77.30gm. Integral mount and suspension ring (possibly not original) without ribbon. Two reverse stamps.
2) Second Class Breast Star, Barac-375, Li-pg. 63. 82mm. 98.66gm. Original reverse clasp.
Both decorations are in silver with multicolored enameling. An incredible pair of Republican decorations, some very light handling marks existing in-line with what would be expected from these decorations being worn, though the enamel appears fully original without cracking or chipping, and central medallions on each beautifully glossy and without flaws. We do note that the suspension on the Fifth Class Officer badge appears to be a replacement, as both Barac and Li indicate that these decorations original had a wreath suspension. Comes with later presentation box.
