Republic "Wu Peifu" Award Medal ND (c. 1920's) AU, Barac-110. A well-preserved example of this "Qualification" Award. Barac lists a number of varieties of the same basic type, this particular one being noted as an award for "Virtuous Behavior". Wu Peifu was an important figure and warlord who played a significant role in the Republic of China between 1916 and 1927. The award comes with the original ribbon attached to the medal.
