LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 350-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 7.94 g, 5 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned, on the bowl, with Skylla throwing a stone. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ / ΣΩ Bull butting to right; in exergue, fish. HN Italy 1820. SNG ANS 1077. A beautifully toned piece. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, very fine.
